Whether you are new to basketball or a truly dedicated baller, you’re guaranteed to be able to play basketball leisurely and competitively.
For those interested in playing basketball recreationally, there are a variety of ways to get involved such as a Campus League basketball, weekly social sessions, as shown above. Those looking for a more competitive experience will have the chance to compete in either the BUCS League or the development squad in one of the three teams.

Athletics Highlights

The Men’s and Women’s Basketball clubs join force for an annual event called Lockdown which takes place in the Munrow Arena in the Sport & Fitness club, taking on rivals from other universities and attracts over 400 spectators. On top of all the fun you’ll have playing basketball, you’ll enjoy a variety of social events organised by the club; this is the perfect opportunity to play the sport you love while having a great time and making new friends.
