About
Our Player Development is unmatched. Our athletes participate in one or two Team Practices each week (depending on team) where the entire practice is devoted to team concepts. Athletes then have several training options available Mon-Fri that are devoted entirely to individual player development where players attend the Skills Classes of their choice. The key in our ability to offer our athletes what no other program in SE MI offers is the fact that we have our very own facility; The Factory. The Factory allows us to control our practice & training schedules, offer tons of training opportunities, have open gym times, pre-event shoot-arounds, strength training, speed training, classroom sessions, video sessions, and more. Coaching Experience
Coach Rich has been coaching travel and high school baseball and basketball for 15 years. He has sent dozens of players on to play at all levels of college basketball & baseball, including D1, D2, D3, NAIA and JUCO, and has had two players play professional baseball, with more on the way. Coach Rich is the owner of the Factory, the Director of Michigan Factory Basketball, and the head coach of Michigan Factory Basketball 23 Orange.
Session Plan
These classes include: Skills & Shooting Class, Handles Class (30 or 60 min), Shooting Form (30 or 60 min), Off-Hand Development, Finishing School, Pivot Foot Class, Vert Class and Strength Class. We challenge our players every week by playing a strong Exposure Schedule designed to allow our athletes to compete against the best players in the region in front of the most college coaches possible. In 2023, our Girls Orange teams will be playing in the NE2K Circuit, 3 Lady Ballers Insider Events, 3 Grassroots Tourney Events, and 3 Must See Tourney Events as well as the Michigan Cagers' Invitational.
