Coaching Experience

A multi-sport athlete at St. Joseph’s High School in Cleveland, Tony received multiple scholarship offers for both football and basketball from leading Division 1 programs including Michigan, Nebraska, and several others. Tony chose basketball, believing it was a greater challenge that offered more personal growth opportunities. During his collegiate career at Marquette University, he recorded 956 assists, which as of today still remains the eighth-highest total in NCAA Division I history. Tony played professional basketball for 13 years in the United States and throughout Europe and was a two-time Dutch League All-Star in 1998 and 2000. After retiring from professional basketball, Tony began his coaching career in 2009 as the Strength and Conditioning Manager for The University of Southern California (USC). In 2010 he was promoted to a full-time Assistant Coach position through 2013. Following USC, he became an Assistant Coach 2014 at St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California, where he helped the team win a Division 2 state championship. He then moved on to become an assistant for Cal State Los Angeles for two seasons before retiring from coaching to pursue his passion for training players.
