About
EBC Training Centers provides an intense training program to help develop fundamental basketball skills and to also introduce the ideals of good sportsmanship, teamwork, self-confidence, pride, courage, and respect for others to the members of our community.
EBC's on-court development consists of intense physical training combined with high-level instruction. Our goal is to assure that our players are mentally and physically conditioned on the game of basketball. We preach that players are always in "game-mode" by practicing at game speed to prepare them to make natural movements and decisions during competition. We believe in steady growth and future development — your son or daughter will learn how to play the game of basketball the right way with the skills to benefit them for future teams and coaches at the next level of their playing careers.
Coaching Experience
Nick Crossan has been at EBC since day one. He’s the Owner and Program Director. Nick has a long list of coaching experience which includes being the Head Assistant Boys Coach at Issaquah HS under Jason Griffith who placed 6th in the state (2016). He was the Head Coach at Bellevue HS for the Girl’s Program and took them to the KingCo Championship (2019). And lastly, Nick has helped over 50 athletes play at the collegiate level. Prior to coaching, Nick was a standout player at Skyline HS where he lettered all four years, earned all-league all four years, is the all-time leading scorer in career points (1,135), and was a McDonalds All American Nominee (2009). Coaching for him is not just for the moment, it’s forever. As a leader, Nick strives to be an energy giver who can give someone a seed and help them plant that seed. Then, being there to help them water that seed and watch them grow it into a beautiful flower where they are ultimately becoming the best version of themselves. Nick’s vision is to be the preeminent youth basketball program that accommodates each coach, player, and family, to figure out what their goals are, and dissect those goals into small wins that lead to creating habits, that lead them to win each day. These habits not only set our players up to become better basketball players but fully enhance and diversify their skillset in every facet of life. People invest in the stock market, but at EBC, Nick and his staff invest in people, where it becomes bigger than basketball, and where EBC creates lifelong contracts. Aaron Nettles has been a part of EBC since the beginning. Aaron has been in the Seattle Area his whole life and grew up playing in the AAU world since 2nd grade. Aaron continued his high school career and education at Seattle Preparatory School where he was a four-year starter, earned all-league honors, and ranks 6th on the all-time scoring list (1K point club), surpassing Spencer Hawes. Playing for EBC all throughout middle school and high school, Aaron was able to earn a scholarship to play for Seattle University where he played all four years. Now Aaron is motivated to help build the very program that helped him so immensely as a young player. Aaron is currently the Marketing Director and Private Training Coordinator at EBC Training Centers along with coaching and training. Aaron’s goal to create long-lasting relationships and make the biggest possible impact on the community can be summed up in this short quote from him: “I coach because of the impact that the game of basketball and sports, in general, has on the youth. Being able to impact our community in a positive way and give our youth a great experience playing the game is why I do what I do. Also, creating relationships and being someone that our athletes can look to for help beyond the court.”
