Books and Basketball was founded by NaDorian and Rashay Hudson. NaDorian holds an undergraduate degree from University of South Florida and a Master’s in Business from Lynn University. Rashay Hudson holds a degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida, and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Saint Leo University. NaDorian is originally from Atlanta, Georgia and has a lifetime playing basketball and training athletes. He has played on a collegiate level, semi-pro, and also trained some of the top overseas athletes. NaDorian’s biggest inspiration growing up was his Grandmother Mittie Pounds, who believed in the importance of academics. She served as a pillar in her community, setting the example of perseverance and determination. Now he carries forward those same qualities and aims to help, inspire, and motivate children through the Books and Basketball program. Rashay Hudson also owns and successfully manages Wesley Chapel Tutors in Wesley Chapel, Florida as well as The Beautiful Minds Workshop Inc – a non-profit organization designed to provide academic and social/emotional growth through the use of group tutoring. NaDorian and Rashay Hudson share a passion for community work and helping children reach their full potential. They currently live in Tampa, Florida where they raise their two children.
