Coach V and Coach Francesco Rossi built an amazing program with camps in Italy, Japan, Brazil, Sweden, Congo, Egypt and USA. With Coaches from more than 20 countries working together to pass on the basketball knowledge.

Always Basketball feels strongly about giving back to the community that supports them. We work with schools and their PTA, or any other school group to help raise money for the school. Our programs are designed to promote physical fitness in a safe controlled environment. Together with these schools, we establish a program developed for their students that will stress Sportsmanship, Teamwork, and Leadership while learning the fundamentals of basketball.

Coaching Experience

Always Basketball was created by Coach Vitor Imbuzeiro and Coach Steve Claramunt to bring elementary students a sports activity. Being a father to three elementary aged children, Coach V noticed that elementary schools did not offer sports programs and he decided to do something. He came up with the idea for an after-school program, and Always Basketball was born. Always Basketball offers Summer Camps, High School Summer Basketball Leagues, and Personal Skill Development. Always Basketball has a strong emphasis on sportsmanship and reinforces that during their classes. They are continually working to improve their offerings and to help enrich local youth through the game of basketball.

Athletics Highlights

We are proud to be a program that focuses on player development. Our former players have gone on to play high school basketball for 12 different schools in the area. Some of our former players are now playing college basketball after being offered scholarships to extend their love for the game. Our coaches have passion and dedication . They offer each player the opportunity to improve and grow by being challenged in practice but always in a safe and fun environment. Always Basketball has a very good relationship with the Northville High School basketball program, with access to their coaching staff and we celebrate that by having an "Always Basketball Night" at one of their home games. In the 2022/23 season, 19 out of 35 players in the Northville High School program were Always Basketball alumni. And more than 50 girls from Always Basketball have already played for the Northville High School basketball teams. Coach V and Jamey Petree from GETSKILLZ BASKETBALL work closely together to provide the girls with many opportunities to work on their skills and to improve on the court.

Session Plan

* Big Cat Fall league : October – All 5 Sundays with 2 games per Sunday at Novi Public Schools. * Big Cat Winter League : November-December : 6 Sundays with 2 games per Sunday at Novi Public Schools. * FAAST Tournaments : We participate in a few local tournaments. The travel time from Northville doesn’t exceed 60 minutes. (No cost added) * Northville High School “Always Basketball Night” : We go watch one of their home games to celebrate our former players. Always Basketball current players get to participate on the floor events such as: forming a tunnel for the players entrance , National Anthem buddies, etc. * UofM Women’s game: We go watch one of the UofM women’s basketball games as a program. It is one of the highlights of the season, with the girls being able to participate in the high five tunnel and also the Anthem Buddies with the college players. * Media Day : All the girls take action shots and profile photos with a professional photographer. ( No cost added ) * PISTONS GAME DAY : Coach V is working with the Detroit Pistons organization to have the girls play a game at the Little Caesars Arena before one of the Pistons games. It will be a life time experience for our girls. * End of the year banquet : After the conclusion of our Big Cat Winter League, we celebrate our players in a 3 hour event for all the players and their families together.
